Saturday May 27th, 2017 was the wedding of Kalyn & John Ward!
We looked forward to Saturday for over a year and 3 months. We had shot their engagement session last year and gotten to know them better as we met to work out the details of the big day. Kalyn did an amazing job of detailing the outline of her day before she even met with us! They mentioned how busy they had been preparing their home for this event and we knew it would make the day mean even more. When we arrived, all their hard work was easy to see! The wedding would take place in the front hard along side the long drive. We were told it might rain but knew this couple could work around anything thrown at them! Luckily mother nature knew that the service was at 6:00, so she backed off until it was over. With storm clouds rolling in Kalyn & John pledged their love for one another and planted a tree together while Florida Georgia Line's song Dirt played in the background. This tree is right beside the drive and they will see it each and every day that they come and go. We had tears of joy, tears of pride and tears from heaven that day, and it was perfect.
The wedding and reception venue was their home in Daviess County Kentucky.
