Saturday, August 29, 2020 was the wedding of Jacob & Mary Ellen Cunningham!
What a crazy year it has been. We looked forward to so many weddings this year that have been postponed. This one we have looked forward to since we first met last June! Some couples make our job easy by just being genuine. Jacob and Mary Ellen share a love for family and friends that shows every time they smile! We started with the boys at their Hampton Suite. It was a close-knit crew of brothers and friends. The group was up for whatever and looked forward to getting the day started. After capturing some highlights we quickly moved to the ladies who had taken over mom’s pool house. Excitement was in the air and they couldn't wait to see the bride in her gorgeous dress. After a reveal to her bridesmaids, she did a first look with her dad who immediately cried at her sight! Time was ticking away and she didn't want to make Jacob wait so we headed to the Botanical Gardens for the couple to see each other and have some private time. The excitement was in both their voices as we prepared. Finally our favorite part of the day, when they see each other for the first time. And it was magical! The smile and tears and jokes made the wait completely worth it. You could actually see and feel the love these two have for each other. They look so comfortable in each other’s arms. We quickly got to work moving about and taking advantage of this picturesque couple before the entire wedding party joined us for group shots. Soon it was time to get to the church and hideaway before guest arrived. After a socially distanced and beautiful wedding, it was off to downtown to get this party started. We want to thank the bride, groom and their families for trusting us with this amazing event and inviting us to join them on their most wonderful day!
The wedding was at Immaculate Church and reception was held at the Owensboro Convention Center.
