Saturday September 30th, 2017 was the wedding of Amanda & Jared Ewing!
What amazing weather for this lovely wedding! We started and ended at the bride's family Queen Anne style 1890's home that her mother and father had been restoring for years. Although Amandas mother has passed, you couldn't help but think she was watching Amanda prepare for her wedding day in this beautiful home. The ceremony took place at First Presbyterian Church which has amazing natural light that is a photographers dream! After the rings took a bounce down the alter steps, they were place in the right place and Amanda & Jared sealed their bond with a kiss. The reception took place back at the home with large tents covering food, drink and great music! The inside of the house had the sweet smell of cake and a candy bar as well as an oakey smell from the bourbon bar featuring local favorites as well as some from where the couple live in Texas. The father of the bride stole the show with the remembrance of his bride and a heartfelt story about Amanda. The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra's 2nd Street Big Band kept the dance floor full well into the evening. It was the perfect night of conversation, spirits and love!
The wedding was at First Presbyterian Church in Owensboro Kentucky and the reception venue was at the family home, The "Highlands" House in Owensboro.
Wedding vendor list includes coordination by Ashley Edge of Artistic Occasions, floral by Gary's Fleur De Lis, catering by Moonlite, desserts by Dalishas and entertainment by The 2nd Street Big Band from OSO.
Congratulations again to Amanda & Jared!
