Saturday, June 27th, 2019 was the wedding of Ben & Jordan Geary!
We love visiting and photographing in new places. Ironwood Farm is a beautiful pre-Civil War estate built in 1852 by U.S. Senator Joseph Underwood and his bride, Elizabeth Cox. Nestled on a 500-acre farm of rolling hills surrounded by the Barren River stands a beautiful architecturally designed thoroughbred horse barn. This location was stunning! The heat of the day did not disappoint for a late June wedding in Kentucky. We saw a few showers go by and even some lightning in the distance, but the outdoor wedding space stayed dry. After a quick snack and downing another bottle of water we took our positions for the ceremony. The service went off without a hitch and everyone headed to the beautifully decorated barn for the celebrating to begin. When the cake was cut I had a feeling they wouldn't feed it to each other and I was right! It only took about 5 minutes to clean it all off both their faces! We shot a gorgeous sparkler exit and beautiful sunset to end our time.
The wedding and reception were held at Ironwood in Bowling Green Kentucky.
